Tabasco kicks off Brand Hot Chef Competition

Tabasco has launched its annual brand Hot Chef Competition in partnership with the Craft Guild of Chefs.

This year's competition will challenge students to design a starter and a main course for a mainstream pub menu using Tabasco pepper sauces.

The winning dish will appear on the menu in Stonegate pubs and restaurants across the UK.

The prize also includes an all-expenses paid trip to Avery Island, Louisiana, where Tabasco sauce is made.

The deadline for entries is 31 October 2017.

The final heat will take place at Hotelympia at London's Excel in March next year where finalists will be required to cook their dishes at the event for a panel of judges and industry professionals.
